Sloping Marlborough site with very low yields. Beautifully fruited, soft yet with spine and a great texture; surely this is amongst the best New Zealand pinot noir to date. Opening well with warmth and structure with years of fine drinking ahead, this wine shows varietal intensity and finesse, a rare x-factor and the balance seems perfect. A special wine.
