Terravin 2003 Omaka Valley Pinot Noir
TerraVin is a creation from the dedicated Mike and Jo Eaton who are very serious about making world class Pinot Noir. From their relatively high-density vineyard in the Omaka Valley hills, their attention to detail right through the process of winemaking shows as everything is done to maximise the quality of their wines. This shows a glimpse of what they can do – an excellent wine from a difficult vintage and at four years old it has perfectly matured and is drinking superbly.
Medium red colour with a hint of purple. A complex bouquet exhibiting savoury, ripe cherry and plum flavours leading to a beautifully round, silky palate with a firm finish. A brilliant food wine – excellent weight and structure from good acidity and firm tannins love rich foods such as beef bourguignon. Available from selected restaurants and fine wine retailers.
