TerraVin, Marlborough, New Zealand
TerraVin Diary - October - December

October - November

Shoot thinning and sowing down summer sward:
This involves the removal of all less fruitful shoots or those shoots that will cause air flow or light problems if left. The aim is to leave the remaining shoots of even health and well spread across the fruiting area.

December

At Terravin we use Vertical Shoot Position trellising system with floating vegetation wires that are lifted up the trellis structure to support the growing canes and their crop.
